The Oak Tree Initiative, has organised in collaboration with Leeds and Leeds Met Islamic Societies, the two-day course 'Perished Nations'. This seminar will examine the history of powerful, ancient civilisations, and explore the events leading to their downfall. We'll be looking at:

Noah’s Flood
Ad’s Tornado
Thamud’s Sound Blast
Sodom’s Pelting
Madyan’s Earthquake
Pharaoh’s Drowning

There will be a particular focus on the guidance these narratives offer. We will also touch upon some of the subtle linguistic elements of the verses covered, which will give attendees an insight into why the Quran is a linguistic miracle.

Only £10 for one day or £15 for both days!

Refreshments will be provided.
