I’ll get straight down to business. My name is Arif Ali and I am the Education Officer for Leeds ISOC. You have seen me around during the events. I am Zeeshan, the sports officer for the ISoc. You will not have seen me much around campus, because I'm a part-time student and have to manage this role along with my full time job! This position may not be as important as other roles but sports are a way to bring people together from various backgrounds. We've had brothers from diverse countries such as Thailand, China and Indonesia coming to play football...

Want to gain a better understanding of Arabic?

If you are looking to improve your Arabic Language skills, the Arabic Cultural Club with the Islamic Society are offering a wide range of Arabic courses in part-time classes at Leeds University. 

Registration will take place on Tuesday 31st January at 5.00 in Baines Wing SR 2.16. The fee for registration is £20.

The actual classes will start the following week for six weeks in the Baines Wing SR 2.16 and 2.17 (depending on what level you're placed in)
