You don't need to become an official member to come to any of our events. They're open to everyone including non-Muslims and non-students. There are some benefits to becoming a member however:

• You get a fresher's pack, which contains a pocket prayer mat with a compass showing the direction of the Kiblaa, Moroccan ittar, a pen, a wall calendar, an English translation of the Qur'an and some leaflets.
• You also get a discount card, which gives you discounts at several local takeaways and restaurants - Full details here
• You help the Islamic Society hold more events for you and also look after the Green Room properly
• Finally, you get to choose the Islamic Society committee every year and question the progress they've made over the year.

If you do decide to become a member, let someone from the committee know and we'll get you your fresher's pack and discount card.
